Our team is guided under the auspices of FIRST (www.FirstInspires.org), which is an acronym meaning "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology." As the governing body, FIRST organizes and administers the parameters under which our team competes.
The Notre Dame Robotics Team is not just a bunch of techies building and programming a robot. It's a tight-knit team of students and coaches that include activities around project management, marketing, outreach, communications, leadership, and team-building in addition to core skills in engineering and scientific disciplines. Above all, we have fun striving to meet the challenges and goals given to us by FIRST.
