Notre Dame’s Robotics Team was founded in 2010 by two ambitious female students with a strong desire to further their knowledge in STEM. Annually, students of Notre Dame High School Robotics Club compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition hosted regionally at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The Robotics season consists of eight weeks of preseason introductions to engineering, followed by an intense six week robot-build season. The competition in Rochester is the capstone event of the season where the students spend three days competing with other regional teams. In recent years, the team has added attending an additional competition, the Central New York regional competition.
Joining the Notre Dame Robotics Team is a great way to learn STEM, make new friends, and have the opportunity to work with professional engineers from the industry.
